Applies to all events, workshops, retreats, and services provided by Sophie Heldens Tantra, operated by Sophia Heldens, offered via this website and associated booking platforms.

1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services offered by Sophie Heldens Tantra, including events, workshops, retreats, and related offerings made via this website or third-party platforms (e.g. Eventbrite).

2. Booking & Payment

  • Booking becomes binding upon completion of registration and full payment.

  • For retreats, the booking becomes binding upon payment of the tuition fee, regardless of whether other payments (e.g., venue or accommodation) are due separately.

  • Payments are accepted via credit card, Eventbrite, or other listed methods.

  • You will receive an email confirmation once the booking is completed.

  • By registering, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the event type and ensures fairness and clarity for all participants. All refunds are subject to a €5 processing fee to cover transaction and administrative costs.

3.1 Tantric Date Night & Introduction to Tantra

  • Cancellations accepted up to 7 days prior to the event.

  • No refunds or rescheduling for cancellations within 7 days of the event.

3.2 Other workshop formats (Living Tantra, Conscious Lap Dance etc.)

  • Cancellations accepted up to 14 days before the event.

  • No refunds or rescheduling after this period.

3.3. Tantra Rebirth Retreat

  • Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the retreat: 50% refund of tuition fees.

  • Cancellations within 6 weeks: no refund; full venue costs remain payable.

  • Travel cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

3.4 Late Cancellations & Missed Sessions

  • No refunds or rescheduling for no-shows or late cancellations.

4. Right of Withdrawal

4.1 Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from your booking within 14 days without giving a reason, provided the event or service is not tied to a specific date.

4.2 Exclusion of Withdrawal

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to services related to leisure activities (such as workshops or retreats) when the contract provides for a specific date or period (§ 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB).

Important Note: Since all Sophie Heldens Tantra events are date-specific, the legal Right of Withdrawal only applies to private sessions.
Therefore, all other bookings are subject solely to the Cancellation Policy outlined in Section 3.

4.3 Exercising Your Right of Withdrawal

If you purchase a service that is not tied to a specific date (e.g., a gift card or non-scheduled offering), and the withdrawal right applies, you may withdraw within 14 days by contacting:

5. Participant Responsibility

Participation in all events is voluntary and at your own risk. Each participant is responsible for their physical and emotional well-being. The organizer is not liable for any injuries, mental distress, or damages unless caused by intent or gross negligence.

6. Changes & Cancellation by the Organizer

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, low enrollment, force majeure). In such cases, you will be offered either a full refund or an alternative date.

7. Data Protection

All personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, unless otherwise required by law.
